Apple Accidentally Bundled Claude.md in Official App — Big Tech Does Vibe Coding Too?
Apple accidentally included its internal Claude.md file in the v5.13 update of the Apple Support app released on May 1. The file was discovered by MacRumors analyst Aaron Perris, confirming that Apple is using Claude Code internally to build production-grade applications. A project-level Claude.md typically contains project descriptions, build instructions, development guidelines, and known pitfalls. Despite being the world's most security-conscious tech company, Apple inadvertently exposed its internal AI workflow. The company recalled the version within 24 hours, but the content had already been screenshotted and spread. This incident echoes the previous Claude Code source code leak, which was also linked to source map bundling issues.
